On a New Journey

| June 26, 2012 | 22 Comments

As you all know, I’ve been a bit burnt out with online writing. I’ve had the NJFM blog for several years and it has been dwindling in activity. I just don’t have what it takes in me to make relevant posts on the topic of online writing.

I’ve been dallying around with a few other ventures. Some ventures are from the heart such as my Blulow and HVBokashi blogs, and others are more of a financial nature. Unfortunately, as it always seems to happen, those matters of the heart don’t bring in the money so it’s necessary to engage in activities of a financial nature to keep a roof over the head and bread on the table.New Journey

My New Venture

My latest venture is being chronicled on NJFMII. Yep, since my latest financial endeavor is removed from freelance writing, I didn’t think it right to switch gears and start posting unrelated information here so I created (am in the process of creating) No Job for Mom Phase II. In essence, the goal is the same (no traditional job) but this time I’m using a method other than writing.

If you want to see what I’m up to, you can stop over there to watch my progress. I use the same blogging methods over there as I do here. I share what I’m doing, how I did it and my successes and failures.

There’s not much going on over there right now because the blog is brand new. Over time, just like this blog, it will grow.

It's Been FunNJFM has been a nice ride and will remain alive on the internet, but I can’t say it will be updated regularly. I’ll try to remember to share my monthly income but I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to offer anymore than that.

Thanks to all of you who made NJFM what it is. Although some of the information is outdated, the premise remains consistent. If you think you can or you think you can’t you’re right. I choose to believe I can and I hope you do too.

I am so sad to hear that you are moving onto other ventures as I am new to the No Job For Mom community. However, I’m sure you’ll have amazing future success since you’re so talented!

    • Felicia says:

Crystal, what I’ve discovered is talent is nice, but it’s the hard work that really counts. I believe everyone is talented in one way or another, but if talent isn’t supported by hard work of developing the talent, it gets wasted.

I wish you the best in your new venture too.

Nothing stays the same forever and those with the ability to make changes when change becomes necessary are the ones who are the most successful.
