A Shout Out to Christina at Cash Campfire

| January 2, 2011

Cash CampfireCheck out this clever post by Christina over at Cash Campfire.

Christina managed to pull off interviews at the busiest time of the year, compile them in an extensive post and display it brilliantly on her blog.

Christina, my hat is off to you.  Great job and I believe it will pay off handsomely for you.

If you’re a writer or an entrepreneur looking to get more out of your day, you’ve got to read her post  entitled: How to Wake Up Early with Enthusiasm: The Ultimate Guide (you might recognize a person or two in her post). 😉

Wow Felicia! I completely wasn’t expecting this – Thank you!

Sorry if I’m a bit late. I just checked my RSS feed a few minutes ago – and what a pleasant surprise!

You are simply awesome, Felicia. Thanks for the shout out!

I am one of those funny people with reversed circadian rhythms… i literally can NOT function in the daylight. If I am awake in the daytime, I am headachy, body achy, can’t think straight, and my eyes hurt terribly (course, that’s probably more to do with my vision probs and being excessively sensitive to light, but we’ll go with that lol)

So a morning routine for me is not my thing. Most of my corporate working days were 9 to 5ers and I was horrible at it for the above reasons.

But my routine works for me pretty good. My wife’s totally understanding of it, and since i sleep during the day while the kiddos are at school and am awake with them when they are home (including at night to watch over them hehe) it works out well. I also get at least 9 hours of time completely alone to do my thing in.

It helps that that is also my most productive time, so it all works out well in the end.

What my main issue is with has to do with my health. I slip between hyper- and hypo-thyroidism, so there’s a lot of days that I feel I am “not right” and have a hard time thinking straight. But, once I get going writing, I am good. Just have so many problems getting myself GOING lol 😀

Anyhow, thanks for pointing her out to us, Felicia. It’s another new person for me to watch 😉

Oh yeah, I just left her a comment on that blog. Great idea. Fortunately for us, we are morning persons. But there are always improvements to make! Improving productivity.

Is there something about us creative types that lends to procrastination and wasting time doing other stuff? Maybe also why we hate working for others that forces us into a cubbyhole schedule?

    • Felicia says:

Don’t know so much about the procrastination, but I’m thinking it does have a lot to do with why we don’t want to work for someone else.
