Demand Studios in Now Open to UK and Canadian Writers

I’m sure most of you know by now, but Demand Studios is now accepting UK and Canadian writers.

While you’re there listen to the MP3 of Steven Kydd’s interview.  Steven Kydd is an Executive Vice President at Demand Media.  The interview is pretty interesting and gives some insight into Demand Media’s operations and their direction (US writers should listen to it too).

Like ‘em or hate ‘em, Demand Media is providing lots of opportunities for freelance writers.

    I heard about this yesterday on the Suite forums. It’s good to know at least one major company is opening up to non-US residents. Thanks for keeping everyone up to date. :)

    I just posted about this the other day too and also saw it on the Suite101 forum. About this news, Victoria Nicks on Suite said, “They’re spreading the rewrite love around, all over the world…” I found that hilarious! (Hope it’s okay to quote her.)
