Lissie, that's part of the reason for the newsletter. I often find myself answering the same question or re-writing in an email something that I've addressed on the blog. As the blog gets bigger, even I have a difficult time finding certain blog posts.

With the newsletter I'm entering uncharted territory. It could be a big success or a huge flop (more than likely it will fall somewhere in the middle).

If I find it to be a accumulation of useless drivel, I'll put an end to it and save my readers from having to press the delete button. :D

I've been lurking here since July, but signed up for the newsletter as soon as I saw THAT opportunity, and received the first 'installment' tonight. (lol Mrs. McPerfume)

Had to post to say Thank You, and to tell you how much I enjoy your wisdom, sense of humor, willingness to share your knowledge and insights, and offer support for the rest of us who aspire to the same goals and dreams. This is a great, growing community, and a wonderful place to visit, learn and share.

I subscribed and am watching with interest - I have never really understood the purpose of newsletters - surely its all on the blog and people can use email to subscribe if they don't like RSS.

But I am increasingly having a conflict - I do use SEO and I have a lot of search engine traffic which hit certain posts - some then leave comments which are questions I have answered over and over but they clearly can't find their way around the blog to find the answers to.

I'm thinking an email signup may be the soliution around this issue -as a blog gets bigger it becomes difficult for a new comer to find their way around

Awesome- I subscribed. I find that I have ten thousand RSS feeds saved into my "live bookmarks" file but I rarely (every 3-4mos) look at them. Also, my google reader has a million feeds (never read them) and I email subscribe to a bunch (rarely read them) but a good newsletter, I read them every morning while I drink coffee and wait for my brain to wake up enough for work. I toyed around with this idea, too. I'm glad to see you chose aweber, I've been meaning to try & figure out the difference between aweber and constant content soon.
