Hey there Felicia, I have worked for Families.com since late 2005. I have to say I appreciate Families.com for giving an amateur writer a chance and growing me into a veteran content writer who can now demand top pay. I will be cutting back my blog assignments there because my writing now demands more than they can pay. Still, I recommend that new writers with good skills apply to work there. It's all about timing though. They hire in spurts and not too often because there is a low blogger turnover. Families.com is a place to gain experience and to grow your writing portfolio.

They will always hold a place in my heart and are very trustworthy.

Was checking out this opportunity and came across the following statement at the bottom of the Become a Blogger info page:

"All content is owned by Families.com"

While the posts appear with attribution to the blogger, I understand this clause to mean that the blogger does not retain ownership of the post content. This may be the standard with paid blogging and actually makes sense, I guess, beings the posts have basically been purchased.

Anyway, just thought I'd point this out in case anyone looking into this opportunity missed that one little sentence.

Hi Felicia,
Thanks for sharing this. Will check it out and let you know if they accept international writers or only those from US/UK/Aus/Can. It seems interesting enough and I *think* I may have read of a fellow Suite 101-er who is writing for them. Let me go through my blogroll and check.
Best wishes,
Prerna
