Nice find. I used the Privacy Policy generator that I talk about here, but I like the user friendly interface of the one you found.

Hey Felicia -

With the news coverage of the FTC guidelines change and all the talk about advertising and paid blogging, I did a little research and would like to share a site I found - disclosurepolicy.org.

The policy generator there asks questions and allows you to click the appropriate answers after which a disclosure policy appears. You can copy and paste it as is or modify it, if desired.

Not sure this is the best place to post this info on NJFM but wanted to get the word out.

Hi Jen,

Selling ads with OIO Publisher software is a little more involved than just placing your site in their marketplace. It’s actually a WordPress plugin. Once it’s properly configured, you can add your site to OIO’s marketplace for exposure. However, you’re not ever sure where your purchasers come from.

The ads that I sold here were a pleasant surprise, but I don’t know if the ads were purchased as a result of OIO’s marketplace of if they stopped by the site and decided to buy.

I’ve been meaning to write a post to explain the software and process more in detail. I guess your comment has given me the gentle kick in the pants to get it done.

Hi Felicia! Thanks for introducing the new advertising format. I'm thinking of buying the software and if I do, I'll use your link.

Do you simply list your blog in the marketplace and then they notify you when someone purchases an ad? Or are you more involved with the process than that? I looked at their FAQ, but I couldn't really tell.

Thanks for the info!

I'm glad that my blog helps so many people. It's been my mission from the start. However, earning a couple of bucks here and there from NJFM would also be nice.

I guess it is a good thing that I've got a few residual income streams to make up for the fact that I don't earn much money here. :)

I believe that down the road it will all even out. In the meanwhile, I'll continue to blab on about freelance writing opportunities and offer my two cents worth of opinions.
