I’ve learned early on not to wait for approval in order to move onto the next. This blog is my mind dump. Sometimes my mind dump is popular and other times it isn’t. Fortunately, popularity doesn’t stop me from dumping my mind here. I think age has a lot to do with it too.

Gone are the days of not wearing a particular hair style because it’s not popular. Now I wear it because it works for me. Similarly, I write posts the same way. I’m of the belief that I’m not all that different from everyone else. I’m sure that if I’ve had a particular thought, there is someone else in the world with the same thought, but isn’t as old…er, as mature…er, as secure in herself as I am to say it out loud (man, I love getting older).

I say it out loud to help validate and encourage other like minded folks.

I just stumbled on this post and am so glad I did! It really is beautiful, and shows your writing talent off so well (plus great message)

It taught me another lesson: this post has “only” 4 responses, and yet it is (in my mind) one of your best posts…

I am sometimes so quick to judge my own writing by responses of others (or lack of response)

But really, it *is* so important to just keep putting it out there…just keep doing the good work…keep you eye on the prize…etc… : )
