I am hoping to hit the $500 mark in Adsense this month and its entirely about writing topics that people want information on, there isn't too much competition for and which have a good CPC. Its a lot more about backlinks than anything else. I have a love/hate thing going with Ezinearticles but they do work for both backlinks and traffic - but you have to do qantity -think at least 10 articles for each keyword.
