Wow, Felicia! Thanks for the links! And I appreciate your answer to my question, as well. Checked out your climbing facility review - very good info for anybody who hasn't previously been to one - and especially if they're taking kids. On my article posting question - I wasn't intending on duplicate postings but remembered seeing something about a 1-year exclusive requirement and couldn't find it in eHow's terms. Must have been a different site. As you can tell, I'm really new to all this - found out about online writing opportunities from you in fact, when I stumbled onto your blog after reading one of your articles on Suite101 which I stumbled onto while researching something else altogether ... You know how that goes. Anyway, I really appreciate the quality content on your sites/blogs and the professionalism of your articles posted to various other sites.

Hi Crystal,

Welcome to NJFM. As far as posting your eHow articles elsewhere, I didn't think that was possible unless they were removed from eHow. However, I looked at their FAQ and found the following wording:

"Articles you've published on the eHow website and are also published on other sites must be owned by you. To avoid any plagiarism confusion, please make sure the byline matches the byline on your eHow website account."

It seems you can place your articles elsewhere, but I'm not so sure that's a good idea. It probably would work to your advantage to re-word your articles so that there would be no question of plagiarism. Additionally, placing the same article on different sites mean they compete with each other for the targeted keywords.

Hope this helps.

A side note: Crystal, I visited your website. I'm going to link to your rock climbing jewelry site because I just did a review on an indoor rock climbing facility I took my kids to. It was my first time rock climbing so I learned new words like carabiner and belay.

My Hudson Vally site doesn't get a ton of traffic, but anyone interested in rock climbing may be interested in your jewelry.

Great blog - I'm really glad I found you! I have a question specific to eHow articles that I hope you can answer. During my early research into eHow, seems I recall seeing somewhere (probably a blog post or article) that an article posted to eHow had to be exclusive to eHow for a year and could then be posted to one's own blog or site or whatever - but I can't find that in their terms. Do you know anything about this? Thanks!
