Deja Vu All Over Again
I’ll be away for a few days. It’s spring break and we’re taking a trip to visit some relatives. It’s always great seeing them. This means I get a few days break from cooking (yippee)!
The downside, however, is that I also am forced to take a break from my technology (that’s not so good). You see, these particular relatives don’t have an inernet connections (GASP!!). It’s tortuous, but I know I can handle it. After all, I did it in the past (check out the last time I had an “Internet Jones“).
So, if the posts and the comments are few and far between for the next few days, it’s because I’m either traveling or have reached a ‘non connected’ destination.

Felicia: I loved your Internet Jones article. I’m the same way when we visit my in-laws in Ohio.
What part of NC are you visiting? If it’s near me you are welcome to share my technology!

Enjoy your trip, Felicia. I can’t imagine being unconnected for more than one or two days. Even when I book a hotel, one of my requirements is in-room internet access.

Hey Lynne, thanks for the offer.
We made it down and back. I managed to go to the local library for about 20 minutes or so to make sure that the internet was still operating properly. Once I found out that my absence from the web didn’t cause a major break down, I was satisfied. It gave me just the shot in the arm that I needed to be able to sustain me until I got back home.
I’m a bit tired from the trip, but I’ve got just enough energy to respond to a few comments (YAWN). I’m not quite as young as I used to be so I’m going to get some rest. The kids are still with relatives (they won’t be home until the weekend), so I can nap as needed.
Chat with you all later (yawn…)
