My downline writes a lot for Bukisa. I have exactly enough articles on there to keep my sidebar widget populated. I'm more focused lately on writing for my own niche sites than for revenue share. Why share, y'know- when you can have it all? One feature I'd like Bukisa to implement is the ability to send an email to my downline, so I can encourage them to write more. I hadn't logged on for a while & I was surprised to see what I was making without writing a thing.

Lisa Russells last blog post..I’m having a party and you get the presents #ubp09

I'm finding that with the right articles, Bukisa can pay decently well. And building a network can generate a nice amount of revenue too. I only add original content there, though, or pieces I rewrite quite a bit.

Hi Julie,

I don't actively write for Bukisa. The articles I have on there are very old re-writes. I find that with my freelance writing the 80/20 rule applies. 20% of my income sources generate 80% of my income (or there about), while 80% of my sources generate 20% of the income. Bukisa is part of the 80% that helps to make up 20% of my income.

Since there are no minimum writing requirements for Bukisa, unlike Suite 101, I don't really put much effort into Bukisa. Unlike Today.com, I don't have to make a decision whether to continue with Bukisa or not. As long as Bukisa remains around, my existing articles will be there. As far as writing new articles for Bukisa...I'm concentrating on the 20% that brings in 80% of my income.

Felicia,

Just curious if you (or others) are still writing for Bukisa. I stopped, not sure if I will start back up. Reputation is not superb lately.
